The story of Focused Wellbeing Services
Our journey working with people with disabilities.
My name is Antoine Tron. I am the founder and Director of Focused Wellbeing Services. Originally from Mauritius, I have been living in Australia for over 15 years. I came to Australia as a metal fabrication engineer. In 2014, I was travelling around Australia and had the opportunity to start my career in disability. My first role as a support worker was in Kununurra, I had the privilege to worked with the First Nation. I had the benefit of a great mentor, Wendy J. She shared with me how to work with, understand and adapt to people with disabilities.
Employed as a support worker for various providers I identified glaring gaps in the quality of service being delivered. Support workers often had a hard time doing their jobs well. There was little support from management and communication was poor. I knew I could do better – providing a genuinely high quality service that will make NDIS participants feel safe and happy in their environments. So Focused Well-Being Services was established.
Focused Well-being Services are here for our clients and support workers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We respond to any requests promptly, we communicate regularly and we ask for continuous feedback to improve our services. I’m personally available to talk to all my clients and employees whenever they need me. I care about providing an exceedingly high quality of care and I’ll do whatever is in my power to deliver it.
